About the Role

Seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming team in Chessington. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on childcare experience who are passionate about early years education and creating a nurturing environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the daily care and supervision of children aged 0–5
• Assisting in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
• Promoting children’s social, emotional and physical development
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Contributing to observations and learning journals where required

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• A genuine passion for childcare and early education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
• Qualifications are not essential – experience, commitment and the right attitude are valued above all else.
