About the Role

The Private Bank division consolidates Deutsche Bank's expertise in private customer business, operating under the Deutsche Bank and Postbank brands as the market leader in Germany. It encompasses a global network serving high-net-worth clients worldwide, as well as private customers and small to medium-sized enterprises. The division offers comprehensive financial services, from private customer offerings to specialized support for entrepreneurs and solutions for SMEs in key Eurozone markets. It is one of four core divisions of the Deutsche Bank Group, alongside the Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, and Asset Management (DWS).

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and disciplinary leadership, including qualification, coaching, and development of assigned sales and service employees in Acquisition & Representation (A&R), including customer service staff in the responsible branch or branch network.
  • Manage and coordinate team resources, leading the team with a sales, customer, and service orientation.
  • Provide holistic support and advice to a sophisticated client portfolio regarding the entire product range for private and business needs.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with neighboring departments for the overall result.
  • Develop and transfer extensive knowledge and experience to the sales team, taking on a mentoring role.
  • Implement new consulting philosophies in the 'Quartier Zukunft' sustainably and develop strategies for optimal integration with existing consulting processes to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Develop and support workshop formats for near- and beyond-banking topics.
  • Demonstrate capital market expertise and independently stay informed about market, company, and financial topics.
  • Provide conceptual explanations and guided tours of the 'Quartier Zukunft' concept.
  • Accompany customer events and utilize them for acquisition purposes.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a bank clerk with potential further qualifications.
  • Strong fundamental understanding in all competence areas of the Personal Banking service offering.
  • Confident, experienced, competent, and friendly demeanor.
  • Act as a host for all customers, impressing with personality.
  • Act as a coach, role model, and quality manager with corresponding behavioral anchors.
  • Very good foreign language skills, at least English.
  • Presentation experience and ability to speak in front of large groups (up to 200 people).
