About the Role

Northern Trust's Securities Lending team is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to act as the primary contact for a specific Securities Lending client base in EMEA. The role involves leading all client-related matters, delivering high-quality service, and identifying additional revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Securities Lending and be comfortable with face-to-face client presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as account manager for a specific client base, serving as the lead contact for all client correspondence.
  • Address client issues and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct service review meetings with clients.
  • Work with the relationship management team on complex client relationships, acting as the key contact for daily inquiries, reporting, and compliance.
  • Support business development efforts, including client presentations and coordinating meetings.
  • Manage the onboarding and maintenance of client profiles within the system, ensuring stakeholder coordination and timely, quality task completion.
  • Oversee the development of action plans for client queries and requests, ensuring communication with internal and external partners and adherence to control procedures.
  • Identify service efficiency enhancements and process improvements, facilitating service delivery through creative and proactive measures.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for securities lending queries, processes, and procedures for other teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in client servicing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Securities Lending.
  • Ability to think strategically, collaborate productively, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Ability to develop and contribute to high-quality content such as presentations, RFPs, and client inquiry responses.
  • Experience in presenting and explaining detailed concepts to clients.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI skills).
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application and for the duration of employment.
