About the Role
Contribute to the fast growth of the brand(s) through strong consumer recruitment and trade activation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective 12-month rolling brand plans with multi-functional teams to grow sales and equity.
- Prepare key brand presentations, including annual plans, quarterly updates, and reviews, offering strategic insights and creative thinking.
- Discuss, update, and align with Brand Companies on Japan strategies and plans.
- Lead product launches, including business case preparation, SKU registration, trade announcements, and sales presenter development.
- Define the most efficient investment mix across touchpoints for sales growth and equity building.
- Develop and implement visibility and activation programs in collaboration with Trade Marketing and Sales teams.
- Develop and implement consumer and trade mentoring programs with the sales team and Brand Ambassadors.
- Develop and implement trade events, influencer, and/or media plans where relevant.
- Ensure strong buy-in from Commercial and Trade Marketing teams for effective plan roll-out.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative evaluations of marketing activations.
- Regularly analyze key business metrics, including sales, market share, and pricing, to make recommendations and adapt plans.
- Monitor and control operating costs and A&P expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
Requirements
- 4-year university graduate or above.
- Native Japanese and fluent English (speaking, reading, writing) with excellent level for daily international interaction and extensive deck preparation.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing with proven success in Brand Building.
- Experience in FMCG or luxury brands preferred.
- Experience in on-trade marketing is a plus.
- Experience in multi-brand marketing is a plus.
- Interest in western-style spirits and champagne is a plus.
