About the Role
We are looking for a UX Designer to join our growing technology division and help shape our SaaS platform. This role offers the opportunity to be a founding voice in our product design culture, challenge assumptions, and take ownership of the user experience across digital platforms and client experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, Client Services, and Client Success Management teams to design value-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design from discovery and concept through to production-ready interfaces.
- Build and evolve the design system and component library, establishing consistent standards.
- Run user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering in an agile environment.
- Partner with Client Success Managers to translate client feedback and business requirements into user-centred design solutions.
- Define and champion the product design process, including tooling, documentation, and critique.
- Contribute to information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Proactively identify UX debt and opportunities for improvement, applying a strategic lens to prioritization.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial nature, thriving in ambiguity and building from scratch.
- Ability to ask 'why' before 'how' and present rationales effectively.
- Genuine curiosity about users, problems, and systems.
- Strong communication skills with confidence to present and defend design decisions.
- Ability to work independently, managing and communicating workload effectively.
- Collaborative spirit, bringing people along in the process.
- Ability to actively seek and constructively process feedback for enhancements.
- Strategic mindset, keeping the bigger picture in view while focusing on details.
- Mission-driven motivation, caring about the impact of work.
- Proven experience of UX/product design, ideally within a SaaS or digital product environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, strong visual craft, and a clear design process.
- Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage, or scale-up environments is a distinct advantage.
- Exposure to client-facing work or working alongside commercial teams is highly desirable.
