About the Role
We are seeking a Compensation & HR Governance Specialist to join the HR team of a renowned banking institution in Berlin. This is a permanent position focused on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing HR governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Control, compliance, and implementation of the Institute Remuneration Ordinance (IVV) and BT 8 MaComp
- Preparation of annual Federal Bank remuneration reports
- Company-wide coordination point for the requirements of the Pay Transparency Act
- Support of occupational pension schemes (interface with external service provider) and contact person for all departments
- Deputy responsibility for the administration of the bank's direct and indirect pension obligations
- Support in the conception and management of the bank's remuneration systems; operational support in the annual bonus and salary round
- Execution and support of HR annual planning (budget, headcount)
- Execution of special year-end closing activities (e.g., provision calculations)
- Annual contribution to sustainability reporting and ESRS materiality analysis
- Support in the implementation of the Sustainability Compass
- Update of ESG information in the remuneration policy according to Art. 5 (1), (2) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088
- Annual update of the RKM (Risk Control Matrix)
- Validation of the protection needs of main and sub-processes in the HR department
- Compliance with group legal instructions from the parent company
- Responsibility for deletion concepts and data protection regulations in the HR department
Requirements
- Successfully completed banking vocational training with additional qualifications or successfully completed university studies with a focus on economics and/or human resources
- Affinity for overall bank controlling processes would be advantageous
- Several years of professional experience in risk management at a credit institution or consulting firm
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, MaRisk, MaComp, GDPR, KWG) and the Institute Remuneration Ordinance
- Above-average IT understanding as well as experience in project work and quality assurance processes
- High analytical understanding
- Experience in presenting and communicating complex issues to the target audience
- Independent, structured, and persistent way of working with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills as well as strong team spirit and humor
- Open and reliable personality, sociability, and teamwork skills
