About the Role

This role offers exposure to financial analysis, board deck preparation, month-end/year-end revenue reporting, business partnering, and understanding key performance drivers. It combines technical accounting with commercial finance, providing opportunities to develop analytical skills, build cross-team relationships, and own key financial processes. Responsibilities include consolidation, cost allocation, and management information reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain a multi-currency and multi-territory budget, forecast and 5-year plan consolidation.
  • Support the analysis of budget and forecast data, challenging where necessary and pulling together bridges and variance analysis.
  • Improve and adapt current models in line with business needs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with business partners.
  • Manage large amounts of data from multiple sources.
  • Produce management reports and ad-hoc financial presentations, including the board deck.
  • Develop clear, logical driver-based Excel and BPC models for consolidation and analysis.
  • Assist in providing finance systems support across the EMEA team.
  • Leverage systems by integrating and automating reports into financial planning models.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the finance team during month-end, forecast, and budget periods, including setting up internal orders and deals in SAP/BPC.
  • Provide analysis and assessment of performance against agreed budget/forecast plans monthly.
  • Support all ad hoc reporting.
  • Support Head of FP&A with key strategic projects.
  • Manage the allocation process for budget, forecast, and month-end, implementing different methodologies as needed.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts across Revenue for review.
  • Understand transaction nature and identify appropriate accounting treatment, referring to contracts if necessary.
  • Post month-end journals and understand their impact on P&L and balance sheet.
  • Support the maintenance of month-end reporting models, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Prepare the monthly flash revenue report for senior management.
  • Support with Budgets/Forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving anomalies.
  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable & Commercial on monthly billing and accrual queries, including raising internal invoice request forms and tracking partner deal renewals.
  • Liaise with auditors and support external reporting as necessary.

Requirements

  • Part qualified accountant, at least 50% through qualification.
  • Comfortable with large data sets and ability to analyze data.
  • Advanced Excel skills and willingness to further learn.
  • Month End experience.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is essential.
  • Minimum two years of work experience within a Finance team.
  • Multi-currency experience.
