About the Role
MOTOR Ai is a Berlin-based Deep-Tech startup founded in 2017, developing Europe's first certifiable Level 4 autonomous driving system. Our technology utilizes cognitive neuroscience to safely navigate complex real-world traffic scenarios, demonstrating advanced understanding and decision-making capabilities. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement homologation strategies for autonomous driving systems.
- Ensure compliance with requirements from AFGBV and StVG for autonomous vehicles.
- Achieve and demonstrate system compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to define, create, and coordinate type approval and homologation documentation.
- Implement and monitor risk management processes based on legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret national and international regulations for automated and autonomous driving.
- Support authorities, audits, and certification processes during type approval.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in homologation or type approval within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Autonomous Driving (AD) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Good understanding of European type approval requirements and relevant regulatory processes.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (ISO 21448, ISO 26262, UNECE R155/R156).
- Proficient in handling technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach with a high degree of quality and detail awareness.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a high level of personal responsibility and ownership.
- Hands-on mentality, resilience, and flexibility in a dynamic environment with demanding tasks.
- Fluent German and English (min. C1) in spoken and written form.
