About the Role
Schedule and monitor review of nondestructive testing (NDT) specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support customer and third‑party audits, including NADCAP and ISO9001
- Set up, operate, calibrate, and perform process control checks on NDT equipment per established procedures
- Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results
- Complete required logs, records, and statistical data sheets
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the business unit
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of NDT principles, theory, and practical application
- Current Level II certification with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Magnetic Particle and Penetrant testing
- Willingness to pursue ASNT Level III
- Aerospace/aircraft manufacturing NDT experience preferred
- Proven assembly experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid understanding of quality control principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent hand‑eye coordination and physical capability
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable with shifting priorities, deadlines, and problem‑solving under pressure
- Must be able to comply with ITAR requirements
