About the Role
As a Junior Designer, you will support a busy, collaborative team of marketing professionals, helping maintain design consistency across WPP Media and its brands. Your work will ensure collateral is professional and on-brand, directly supporting agency brands in showcasing capabilities and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, format, and polish high-volume PowerPoint presentations and new business pitches, ensuring engaging and visually clean layouts.
- Produce supporting brand assets, including lock-ups, custom icons, and visual mock-ups, for digital and print campaigns.
- Provide design guidance, visual assets, and quality control for EDMs, social media, and email campaigns.
- Perform technical image editing, including deep-etching, color correcting, and resizing imagery, using Photoshop and AI-assisted retouching tools.
- Prepare press-ready files with accurate bleeds, trims, and CMYK color spaces, and manage basic print-production specifications.
- Build user-friendly, robust PowerPoint templates and self-service assets to streamline recurring marketing requests.
- Organize and maintain a clean shared asset library for easy collateral access.
Requirements
- Specialist presentation design skills with the ability to construct, format, and animate high-quality layouts within Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Professional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Practical experience preparing and pre-flighting files for physical print production and digital screen use.
- High attention to detail, specifically with text alignment, brand guidelines, and copy formatting across multi-page documents.
- Technical image editing skills, including deep-etching, photo retouching, and color correction.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers and non-designers.
- An approachable, positive, and collaborative attitude with a willingness to manage daily production loads and ad-hoc requests.
