Responsibilities
- Develop traffic engineering concepts, from individual traffic light systems and green waves to complex traffic management systems.
- Engage in direct customer consultation and actively support clients (cities, municipalities) in project planning and implementation.
- Present concepts and technical solutions persuasively, both internally and externally.
- Create simulations for individual traffic signal controls and entire route sections.
- Assemble hardware for control units and perform parameterization.
- Develop custom solutions for clients and contribute to the enhancement of planning and supply tools.
- Work at the intersection of stationary infrastructure and mobile vehicles to develop innovative mobility solutions.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Traffic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
- Initial professional experience in traffic planning.
- Knowledge of road traffic technology and experience with planning tools such as Yutraffic Office, Lisa, and Aimsun.
- Familiarity with relevant traffic planning standards and regulations.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken).
- Ability to analyze and present complex issues in a structured manner.
- Confident and competent demeanor, strong customer orientation, and excellent communication skills.
