About the Role
Mercury is seeking senior backend engineers to join its growing product engineering group. The role involves working in an autonomous environment on a close-knit team, partnering with designers and product leaders to ship lovable experiences and transcend the status quo for banking and fintech software.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Has 3-7 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Empathizes with users and can channel their perspective to build lovable products.
- Has made architectural decisions in the past and measured the impact of those decisions over time.
- Should be able to clearly articulate technical opinions and lay out tradeoffs.
- Actively incorporates AI tools into their workflow and is excited about leveraging them to amplify their impact.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with peers and cross-functional counterparts.
