About the Role

Production Technician 1 performs general electroforming activities including electroforming, electroplating, and product quality control. Training will be provided on-site, and no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality reflective parts by following basic procedures for preparation, cleaning, and reproduction.
• Inspects products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Performs tasks such as plating stank stress tests and filling anode baskets with nickel.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Accurately follows schedules, inspects or assists with inspection, and enters production or quality data into the computer system.
• Communicates equipment status and process problems verbally and in writing.
• Enters all data and maintains records related to job functions.
• Follows safety protocols, including proper housekeeping, safe equipment operation, and correct material handling for environmental protection.
• Collaborates with department team leaders and production schedules to complete tooling and development efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follows prescribed safety guidelines and uses required PPE.
• Maintains an optimal level of product quality.
• Adheres to ORAFOL's Quality and Environmental Programs.
• May work on related projects.
