About the Role
Entry level position within Orafol Precision Technology tool room. This is a second shift position.
Responsibilities
- Learn to set up and operate equipment to produce specified dimensions and finishes on a wide range of metals, alloys, plastics, wood and other materials.
- Learn to use all measuring instruments and work to close tolerances.
- Learn to use machines such as lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
- Willingness to work overtime when required and with short notice.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
- Follow prescribed safety guidelines in accordance with ORAFOL Americas Safety program.
- Use required PPE.
- Maintain an optimal level of product quality and adhere to ORAFOLs Quality Program.
Requirements
- 0-2 years experience in precision machining.
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
- Requires close attention to detail and methodical approach to work processes.
- Must have a positive can-do attitude and a sense of accountability; takes initiative.
- Must be a fast learner, driven and self-motivated; strive towards continuous improvement.
- Must be a Team Player.
