About the Role

MWM offers energy solutions based on powerful gas engines used in highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants for decentralized energy generation. Our customized CHP plants and integrated solutions help customers make their energy supply efficient, flexible, and future-proof. Today, the MWM brand is part of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, combining over 150 years of experience in the development and optimization of gas engines and power generators for natural gas, biogas, and other special gases.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and service work with a focus on MSR and electrical engineering, or carry out assembly work on engines, units, or CHP plants.
  • Troubleshoot gas engines, including plant peripherals.
  • Prepare acceptance reports and work reports, and adapt documentation (e.g., revision plans).
  • Support commissioning and final acceptance of complete plants.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician (low voltage), energy system electrician, or electrical technician for operational technology.
  • Initial professional experience in gas engine technology (commercial vehicle engines or CHP gas engine technology).
  • Knowledge and practical experience with electronic engine and plant control systems, ideally as a qualified electrician.
  • Ideally, experience in the operation and service of CHP and emergency power systems (maintenance and repair).
  • Good MS Office skills.
  • Good German language skills (spoken and written) and basic English skills.
  • Driver's license class B and willingness to travel (approx. 200 km around your place of residence).
