About the Role

As a Designer III, you will contribute to project success by adhering to firm standards, developing innovative design solutions, and coordinating complex documentation. You will play an active role in client presentations, support team growth, and maintain proactive communication while taking ownership of project tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to team success by adhering to firm and project goals and design standards.
  • Develop creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions.
  • Coordinate drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Analyze product research and identify material selections.
  • Prepare and present design materials for client and non-client presentations.
  • Implement creative approaches to complete tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Review work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance.
  • Support the professional growth of team members.
  • Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
  • Maintain proactive communication with team members and leadership.
  • Coordinate effectively with partners and consultants.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in healthcare facilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline.
  • Obtain LEED GA certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Active involvement in AXP and preparation for ARE.
  • Professional accreditation in a Living Design area (LEED AP, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future).
