About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist the property manager in overseeing building staff and maintenance operations.
- Manage HQS inspections/repairs and court-ordered repairs.
- Oversee equipment repairs and status updates.
- Handle general building maintenance operations.
- Track, maintain, and schedule in-house resident maintenance repair requests and external vendor repairs.
- Prepare and release vendors via work authorizations, ensuring all approvals are in place.
- Maintain frequent resident engagement, including follow-up and timely responses.
- Assist with active and aged violations, including follow-up with legal counsel and updating SiteCompli.
- Engage the Legal Team to track, monitor, and cure HP actions and/or litigation from city agencies.
- Support, track, and assist site teams and PM on agency-specific inspections (REAC, MOR, API, etc.).
- Track and log vacant apartments; follow up with PM to schedule and prepare the make-ready process.
- Review MOR report information, particularly regarding collections, legal/arrears, and bad debt.
- Process vendor invoices on Avid Exchange weekly.
- Respond to issues on behalf of the PM from the regional site office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of work experience, education, and professional designations/certifications.
- 2+ years of experience in Property Management Operational roles with a college degree.
- 3+ years of experience in a direct APM role at similar scale/scope properties without a college degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in Yardi required.
- Experience in multifamily property management in an administrative or APM-specific role.
- Ability to complete tasks/projects on time.
- Ability to work with people and manage administrative projects.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
