About the Role

The Campus Manager role at BSU London, Hackney, provides managerial oversight for operations at our Hackney campus, covering administrative and business support services. The Campus Manager will combine team, operations, and project management to deliver a seamless student experience and site operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial oversight for operations at the Hackney campus.
• Manage administrative and business support services.
• Combine team, operations, and project management to deliver a seamless student experience and site operation.
• Hold management responsibility for the Operations Team.
• Ensure effective running of the campus with a full range of administrative support activities.
• Act as designated local manager for Health and Safety and Risk Management.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and students.
• Set day-to-day operational arrangements across the site.
• Develop and maintain a suite of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify innovative solutions to resolve problems.
• Establish new and exciting ways of working across the site.
• Manage and deliver large scale projects including events, maintenance, and capital works.
• Require daily on-site presence, including weekly Saturday and evening (Tuesday or Thursday) presence.

Requirements

• Experience managing shift-based rotas.
• Experience managing operational teams to deliver high quality and efficient service.
• Experienced managing core building operations including estates and safety compliance.
