About the Role
The Warehouse & Distribution Lead ANZ is a new role based in Sydney, providing analytical, reporting, and performance insight to support the effective management of warehousing and distribution operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role partners closely with ANZ operational leaders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to translate data into actionable insights, enabling improved service performance, cost control, inventory management, and continuous improvement across the distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Lead KPI reporting and analysis for warehousing & distribution across ANZ, translating data into clear, decision-ready insights.
- Deliver cost, productivity and financial analysis—identify cost drivers, support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Govern 3PL performance with scorecards and service-level reviews to drive accountability and supplier improvements.
- Support continuous improvement and transformation projects: build business cases, track benefits and standardise reporting.
- Analyse inventory accuracy and stock movements; partner with operations, planning and finance to identify root causes and mitigate service and capacity risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting warehousing, distribution and 3PL operations.
- KPI & performance reporting expert with experience translating complex data into insights.
- Skilled in analysing cost drivers, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong grasp of inventory accuracy, stock flows, capacity and service-risk drivers.
- Comfortable with multi-source analysis, dashboards and performance reporting (Excel, BI, SQL-style approaches).
