About the Role
Enhance digital user experience across multiple platforms including Website, My Account, Kiosk, Mobile Apps, Customer Service Software, and Store Manager Software. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify specifications and meet company and user goals, presenting ideas to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design holistic user experiences that support user goals and intended outcomes.
- Create intuitive, usable, and engaging experiences for multiple devices and platforms using Figma.
- Collaborate with product, web ops, and engineering to understand product specifications.
- Identify creative and innovative solutions to UX problems.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, translating feedback into actionable data.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
- Support experimentation by defining hypotheses, success metrics, and UX benchmarking.
- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and performance metrics to identify friction points and optimization opportunities.
- Present and communicate design recommendations to stakeholders, supported by rationale.
- Stay informed on competitors, industry trends, UX best practices, emerging technologies, and AI tools.
- Provide design solutions independently and seek clarity when needed.
- Contribute ideas to the backlog based on research, analytics, and customer insights.
- Proactively contribute to projects, process improvements, and UX goals beyond daily tasks.
- Work within and contribute to existing design system and brand guidelines, including evolving them as needed.
- Ensure work meets WCAG AA standards for accessibility.
Requirements
- BS degree or relevant work experience with a focus on user experience and interaction design.
- 3-5 years of experience in UX Design.
- Understanding of core UX design concepts and principles.
- Advocates for experiences that consider both user and business goals.
- Thorough understanding of interaction design and information architecture.
- Proficient in Figma and the Microsoft Suite.
- Knowledge of Quantum Metrics is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Professional written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
- Ability to account for challenges using problem-solving skills and optimize data.
- Strong portfolio of design projects.
- Demonstrate curiosity, ownership, and a growth mind-set.
- Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting or walking.
- Requires close visual acuity to work at a computer terminal.
- Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping, and feeling.
