Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and fellow engineers on the I Buy I Sell – Third Party Integrations team.
- Develop innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.
- Prioritize the end-user in product development.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure quality through collaborative, test- and behavior-driven development.
Requirements
- Three years of software engineering experience.
- Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Scrum, Kanban or XP.
- Demonstrated success in platform modernization initiatives.
- Ability to code in multiple languages, including an object-oriented language (preferably Java/J2EE or C#/.NET).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain decision-making processes to non-engineers.
- Collaborative and adaptable working style.
- Demonstrated curiosity and initiative.
- Ability to prioritize time and efforts.
- Thorough grasp of technology concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture, and technical standards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
