About the Role

The Client Accounting Clerk performs technical and administrative tasks for the Client Accounting Department, providing information and assistance to attorneys, paralegals, and business services professionals. This role coordinates data storage and retrieval for client-related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Scans documents using the Firm's PDF programs and indexing system.
  • Retrieves client charges and disbursement back-up using applications such as Aderant and other document archiving systems.
  • Assists with conducting audits of Aderant Expert Image databases.
  • Assists with updating and maintaining various reports on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Actively seeks to enhance knowledge of all Client Accounting procedures and processes.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
