About the Role
ResProp Management is a growing multi-family property management company founded in 2010. We focus on servant leadership and hiring top talent to help people find apartment homes and build communities. This role offers opportunities for growth and development within the team.
Responsibilities
- Drive resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely and with quality.
- Ensure property performance by maintaining clean, safe, and attractive common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc.).
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize daily tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
- Maintain property value through preventative maintenance.
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Ensure a safe work environment by identifying and correcting or reporting safety issues.
- Maintain and repair critical building and site systems.
- Utilize software applications to track work and personal performance.
- Handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment as part of a team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of general maintenance/repair experience, preferably in multifamily or related industry.
- EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal certification required.
- Proficiency in trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, and appliance repair.
- Must possess own hand tools.
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the community.
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a background check and reference check prior to employment.
