About the Role
Sotheby's is seeking an accomplished graphic designer to join our in-house Design Studio. You will communicate auction aspects across print and digital media, delivering imaginative design solutions from concept to final production while working closely with the Marketing team and internal clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing and corporate literature, invitations, event items, digital media, books, catalogues, and advertising campaigns.
- Conduct research, create concepts, mock-ups, and presentations.
- Produce finished artwork for print and digital publication.
- Collaborate with the Design Studio, Marketing team, and internal clients.
- Manage projects from initial brief to completion within budget and deadlines.
- Maintain project archives and records.
- Assist with general office administration.
Requirements
- Design degree or equivalent qualification.
- Fluency in Mac-based design.
- Experience in a design studio or agency environment.
- Exposure to cutting-edge or luxury brands.
- Excellent knowledge of print production and finishing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience in motion graphics and animating digital content.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret creative direction and follow brand guidelines.
