About the Role

MongoDB is seeking a Renewal Specialist to join the Renewals Team in the Americas. This role is crucial for delivering a world-class renewal experience and driving strong retention outcomes for MongoDB's business. Success requires exceptional communication, operational excellence, deal formulation, negotiation, product knowledge, and strong internal stakeholder relations. Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned customer accounts, owning timelines, coordination, and execution to drive strong retention outcomes.
Engage with customers 120 days in advance of upcoming renewals to secure timely renewals.
Prepare renewal quotes and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their usage, needs, and challenges.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and solutions to maximize their value from MongoDB.
Utilize data and reporting tools to track renewal performance, forecast renewals, and identify at-risk accounts.
Provide regular updates to the management team on renewal status and key metrics.
Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to renewals.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales or revenue role within a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Demonstrated experience owning deals or commercial outcomes through close, including renewals, expansions, or contract execution.
A track record of strong performance against defined targets, metrics, or goals.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to a diverse audience, both internally and externally.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple opportunities to be managed simultaneously.
Talent for building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
Prior exposure to database, cloud, and infrastructure technology is a plus.
