About the Role

The DSV WMS Training Manager is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of training in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting processes to DSV Contract Logistics sites. This role delivers functional and business process expertise within multidiscipline project teams, ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables. Activities will be based out of one of the DSV Solutions clusters in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute trainings on location across the AMER Region.
  • Facilitate online training sessions.
  • Deliver comfortable and engaging presentations to an audience.
  • Continuously improve training programs and material content.
  • Organize training sessions, including managing the training calendar and local site coordination.
  • Cooperate with engineering on WMS setup.
  • Provide on-site go-live support and after-care.
  • Test training programs to ensure effectiveness.
  • Maintain up-to-date revisions of training materials.
  • Administer tests and exam results in the central database.
  • Train key-users and end-users on designed processes and functionalities.
  • Create functional designs for internal and external reports and documents.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for warehouse process standardization.
  • Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate and promote best practices and standardization to internal and external parties.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand and anticipate customer needs for specific projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support special projects, implementations, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2 years of experience working in a project-based environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong and energetic personality, capable of communicating effectively at both operations and management levels.
  • Possess a Driving License.

Skills

  • Proficiency in one or more WMS
  • MS Office Suite
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Spanish (reading, writing, verbal) - Preferred
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for inventory and product handling.
  • High level of independence and self-drive.
  • Ability to articulate and voice own opinions.
  • Readiness to travel on short notice.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (including Europe).

Experience Level

  • 2 years experience in a project-based environment
  • 3-5 years of experience with JDA WMS (dispatcher preferred) or other major WMS products (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combinations of education and work experience (Preferred)

Education Level

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combinations of education and work experience (Preferred)

Salary/Compensations

  • $90,000.00 – 110,000.00 Annually
