About the Role

The CI Investment Services Inc (CIIS) Trade Support Analyst is responsible for the handling of mutual fund trading for the CIIS trade desk. Reporting to the VP, Trading, the Trade Support Analyst is responsible for supporting trade desk daily activities including the allocation of trades, handling mutual fund rejections and handling of client inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Processing of mutual fund trades files and follow up on rejected trades
  • Handling of transaction corrections and preparation of LOIs when required
  • Resolving trade related inquiries in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to resolve trade related issues
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects relevant to the position shall be assigned as required

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in the financial industry, preferably experience with mutual funds
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Proven analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills, conflict resolution skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self motivated but with desire to work as part of a highly cohesive team
