  • Lead product launch programs, media tours, product review initiatives and proactive storytelling campaigns
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology, consumer and lifestyle journalists and creators
  • Draft media materials including pitches, messaging, briefing documents, reports and strategic recommendations
  • Mentor and coach Account Coordinators, Account Executives and interns while reviewing work and providing thoughtful feedback
  • Partner with senior leadership on client strategy, presentations and new business opportunities
  • Coordinate multiple client priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Requirements

  • 5+ years of public relations agency experience
  • At least one year of experience at the Account Supervisor level (or equivalent experience independently managing client relationships)
  • Experience supporting consumer technology products, product launches or consumer electronics brands
  • Strong media relations experience supporting consumer technology products, with established relationships across consumer, technology and lifestyle media.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience developing pitches, messaging, reports and client communications.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and providing thoughtful, constructive feedback.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Experience working with consumer technology, gaming, digital entertainment or emerging technology clients.
  • Exposure to both B2C and B2B technology communications is a plus.
  • Experience supporting product review programs, media tours or integrated product launch campaigns.
  • Confidence managing day-to-day client relationships and contributing to strategic recommendations.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the curiosity to quickly learn new technologies, industries and subject matter.
