About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and optimization of Bonton Farms’ marketing and communications efforts across multiple programs, social enterprises, and community initiatives. This role requires a versatile, highly organized, and creative professional who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to strengthen Bonton Farms’ brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging visual and written content across digital and print platforms.
- Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Develop, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms.
- Support digital marketing campaigns that promote events, programs, fundraising efforts, social enterprises, and community initiatives.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp.
- Maintain marketing calendars to ensure timely and coordinated communications.
- Design or coordinate graphics for campaigns, advertisements, and organizational communications.
- Assist in coordinating video content, photography, and storytelling assets.
- Work with outside designers, photographers, videographers, and freelancers when needed.
- Support production of materials for presentations, events, donor communications, and promotional campaigns.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams.
- Translate departmental priorities into clear marketing deliverables.
- Help departments communicate initiatives in a way that reflects Bonton Farms’ mission and impact.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal departments requesting marketing support.
- Coordinate swag, business cards, and YoDeck TV display content.
- Support development and execution of marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.
- Assist in campaign tracking, reporting, and optimization.
- Coordinate deadlines, approvals, and deliverables across multiple active projects.
- Research vendors and suppliers for marketing-related needs.
- Coordinate with external vendors, designers, printers, freelancers, and media partners.
- Review deliverables for quality, consistency, and alignment with project goals.
- Assist in managing timelines and communication with third-party creative resources.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with colleagues across all departments.
- Respond promptly to requests and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Accept feedback and direction constructively.
- Offer suggestions and solutions when identifying challenges.
- Provide day-to-day marketing support to the Marketing Department team.
- Prioritize responsiveness, clarity, organization, and follow-through on all delegated work.
Requirements
- Prior experience in marketing, communications, branding, or related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and content strategy.
- Demonstrated experience managing professional social media accounts in business, nonprofit, community, corporate, or e-commerce settings.
- Experience using social media scheduling platforms such as Buffer, Metricool, Meta Business Suite.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express, Canva.
- Comfortable managing multiple digital assets and file organization.
- Familiarity with email campaign analytics and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

- Experience in nonprofit marketing, community engagement, or mission-driven branding is preferred.
- Experience supporting events, donor communications, or fundraising campaigns is preferred.
- Photography or basic video editing experience is a plus.
- Requires regular collaboration across departments.
- May include support during special events, community activations, and occasional evening or weekend activities.
