  • Support field and track testing with hands-on vehicle debugging.
  • Collaborate with hardware, operations, safety, and product teams to deliver robust autonomy behavior.
  • Serve as a technical owner for production readiness and mentor other engineers at senior levels.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development or robotics engineering experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Experience designing, building, and debugging maintainable software for real-time or robotics systems.
  • Proven experience with system-level ownership including integration, performance tuning, and platform bring-up.
  • Ability to diagnose issues across software, hardware, sensors, and autonomy stacks.
  • Experience building or using diagnostics such as structured logging, metrics, and fault isolation tools.
  • Working familiarity with core robotics concepts like localization, state estimation, planning, and sensor fusion.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous technical environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical work through the full lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Periodic travel to test sites or deployment hubs up to 15%.
