About the Role
The Product Management team at LPL is responsible for delivering a competitive set of investment solutions, with a specific focus on supporting Clientworks Rebalancer. This role involves understanding and explaining all business aspects of our products/platforms, collaborating with various business units, and enhancing capabilities for advisors. The Vice President, Product Management - Trading will manage and develop LPL’s trading capabilities, focusing on platform enhancements, technology implementation, and driving the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Execute implementation of new trading capabilities with a specific strategic focus on CWR Clientworks Rebalancer.
- Drive adoption of new systems or functionality.
- Utilize LPL’s strong Balance Sheet as a strategic differentiator and identify innovative solutions to help advisors grow.
- Maintain and enhance current Trading Platform for clients to assist in efficiency gains for advisors.
- Align trading capabilities with the marketplace to ensure competitiveness and identify differentiation opportunities.
- Ensure proper risk management oversight and controls are developed.
- Lead significant opportunities to define and execute on a roadmap to develop a competitive program and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal business partners, including client-facing teams, finance, and operations, to deliver best-in-class product solutions and achieve revenue targets.
- Define and implement strategic profit and growth roadmaps for assigned products.
- Provide thought leadership on trading services, including regulatory matters, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Assess and develop trading partnership suite of products.
- Gain alignment on opportunities and need for funding, including cost and benefit analysis.
- Develop journey maps for new and existing clients and identify areas of technology integration to create a better client experience.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years related experience in trading with a strong understanding of the industry.
- 2+ years experience across Advisory, Brokerage, various security types, and order entry platforms.
- 10+ years experience as a product owner or in a product management capacity.
- Skilled in Rebalance and Overlay trading functionality.
- Ability to assess and develop operations infrastructure needed for implementation.
- Articulate, confident, driven professional with the ability to work with experienced professionals in a results-oriented, fast-paced and growing environment.
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape with regard to trading.
- High level of intellectual curiosity and business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all levels within an organization.
- Superior communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Salary/Compensations
- $135,960.00 - $226,600.00
