About the Role
Velan Studios is seeking experienced engine and tools programmers for a highly collaborative role, working closely with artists, designers, and other programmers. This position involves building and enhancing internal game engine and tools technology.
Responsibilities
- Building visual material authoring workflow (code generation, node-graph editing).
- Adding play-in-editor support to our level editor.
- Porting our client runtime to a new console platform.
- Adding a new type of collision primitive to our physics system.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience working on game engines and tools in a multi-platform environment.
- Shipped major features written in C and/or C++.
- Demonstrate a pattern of persistent and self-motivated exploration and curiosity.
