About the Role

This position is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests with an upbeat and positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction in a professional manner. The role must contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment and demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, leading by example to create Great Experiences and Memories for all guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking all items required for the daily menu (hot, cold, buffet, ala carte)
  • Following proper sanitation and stock procedures
  • Assisting the culinary management team with other related tasks to deliver an incredible winning experience

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship and attained Food Safety Certificate (attained within the last two years)
  • Minimum one to two (1 to 2) years related cooking experience
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Basic math skills
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Regular kitchen environment; standing and walking for long periods of time; major exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending; some exposure to fumes, smoke, chemicals, non-traditional work hours.
  • Fast paced with multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables; exposure to some conflict, distress and noise;
  • This role requires extended period of standing, walking, bending and may lift up to 35 lbs.
  • The role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to business needs, will have non-traditional work hours including holidays, evening, overnight or weekend shifts.

Experience Level

  • Minimum Rate (CAD $) 23.02
  • Job Rate (CAD $) 24.02
  • Maximum Rate (CAD $) 24.02
