About the Role

Join a multidisciplinary team at STR to build software that solves complex national security problems, bridging the gap between research and real-world mission success. You will work at the intersection of AI and human decision-making, contributing to projects like Command & Control (C2), Trusted AI & Autonomy, and Advanced Reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement flexible microservices within a robust DevSecOps ecosystem.
• Support a mature mission planning solution, guiding its transition from R&D into an active user community.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to turn complex mathematical models into production-grade software.
• Drive personal growth based on interests and company portfolio.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience (BS) or recent MS graduate with professional experience building maintainable, well-documented APIs and software in Java.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and learning new libraries and languages.
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
