About the Role

As a Copywriter at Sid Lee, you’ll collaborate with an Art Director and multidisciplinary teams to develop campaign ideas that work seamlessly across platforms. You are culturally connected, bring a distinct perspective, and shape strategically sound and creatively unexpected work with a collaborative spirit and unconventional approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new, 360 creative ideas and approaches
  • Ensure strong and non-traditional creative output
  • Write and develop copy for a wide range of deliverables, including film, digital, print, social media, content, OOH, and experiential
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Create structured work that clearly articulates a campaignable idea
  • Present work and develop relationships of value and respect with the client
  • Stay up to date with new innovations and industry trends
  • Contribute, through an innovative approach, to the constant evolution of Sid Lee’s creative product

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of agency experience
  • Strong Portfolio demonstrating originality, innovation, and multi-disciplinary thinking
  • Ability to think in terms of Big Ideas and campaignable thoughts across media
  • Positive, collaborative team player with a contagious spirit
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative to propose new ideas and develop client relationships
  • Production savvy, including experience with budgets, photographers, directors, and vendors
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Cultural player who contributes to agency culture and spirit
  • Exceptional knowledge of current cultural trends
  • Creative vision and attention to detail beyond established norms
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
