About the Role

Enterprise Systems Engineers serve as trusted technical advisors to strategic accounts, partnering with a sales team to deliver tailored solutions across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and digital domains. This role bridges technical expertise with customer engagement to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery conversations and deliver engaging product and solution presentations.
  • Review customer specifications and develop tailored, innovative technical solutions.
  • Assemble compelling proposals that align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Conduct site surveys to define project requirements and engineer solutions using Schneider Electric products and services.
  • Prepare comprehensive submittal documentation post-award.
  • Coordinate with Services teams to support design and installation phases.
  • Provide post-sales technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with internal teams across business units to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Develop and promote leading technical approaches and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, engineering background preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in technical sales, systems engineering, or data center infrastructure design.
  • In depth knowledge of data center physical infrastructure including power distribution, precision cooling, IT rack layouts and management software
  • Background in solutions design with an in-depth knowledge of IT Products
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, locally and regionally
  • Proven track record in complex solution sales, particularly in networking, systems integration, and hardware/software systems
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand clients' business challenges and articulate value propositions
  • Excellence in relationship building and strategic account management
  • Deep understanding of integrated technology solutions and market trends
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to engage at all organizational levels
