About the Role
Hultquist Place Assisted Living is expanding its Per Diem Medication Aide Support Pool for 2nd Shift. We are seeking dependable, compassionate Medication Aides who enjoy flexibility while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. This role offers flexible scheduling, supplemental income opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with self-administration of medications per service plans
- Follow MAR/eMAR documentation and medication assistance procedures
- Observe and report changes in condition, side effects, or refusals
- Document assistance accurately and timely
- Ensure proper medication storage and safety practices
- Promote resident independence, dignity, and privacy
- Collaborate with nurses, aides, and the care team
- Participate in required training and quality initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of Hultquist Place’s in-house medication assistance training program, including demonstrated competency, is required prior to independent assignment and will be provided upon hire
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
