About the Role
Mogl is seeking a Senior Programmatic Trader to manage client relationships, grow business, and establish market presence in New York. This role involves close collaboration with the client services team to ensure efficient campaign execution, performance optimization, and seamless delivery. As the first on-the-ground trader in New York, you will be instrumental in building and strengthening relationships with Northeast clients, providing a local touch to a service-oriented team.
Responsibilities
- Lead campaign strategy, launch, optimization, and performance monitoring, ensuring pacing, budget allocation, and KPI alignment.
- Proactively identify and surface performance opportunities and troubleshoot issues before they impact client results.
- Serve as a senior strategic partner to retail accounts, owning the relationship and driving long-term growth.
- Deliver clear, insight-driven performance narratives in client calls, QBRs, and strategic reviews.
- Partner with Sales on upsell, expansion, and new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain custom dashboards and reporting frameworks tailored to each client's KPIs.
- Analyze retail-specific performance data and translate findings into media strategy and budget recommendations.
- Partner closely with internal traders, programmatic specialists, and account managers to align on strategy and execution.
- Contribute to the development of client services playbooks, best practices, and process documentation that elevate the broader team.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in programmatic advertising, preferably at a DSP or within a performance-focused agency or brand.
- Deep familiarity with The Trade Desk platform, including campaign architecture, audience strategy, and optimization levers.
- Experienced running retail media campaigns across major platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.) with fluency in retail-specific metrics: ROAS, TACoS, NTB, and retail attribution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable strategy; proficient in Excel and comfortable building dashboards and custom reports.
- Confident, polished communicator—equally at ease in executive client conversations as in internal strategy sessions.
- Collaborative by nature, with a track record of working cross-functionally with sales, account management, and media teams to drive client growth.
- Self-directed and detail-oriented, able to manage a high-volume book of business without sacrificing quality or strategic thinking.
