About the Role
Lead telecom consulting projects from planning and scoping through delivery and completion, working with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Manage complex engagements, define objectives, oversee milestones, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards. Play an active role in pre-sales and delivery planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead telecom consulting projects from planning and scoping through delivery and completion.
- Work directly with customer business and IT stakeholders, internal delivery teams, offshore resources, partners, and vendors.
- Manage complex engagements.
- Define project objectives.
- Oversee delivery milestones.
- Manage budget and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.
- Play an active role in pre-sales and delivery planning activities, including scope definition, estimation, solution defense, timeline negotiation, and presentation to senior stakeholders.
- Present to CxO-level audiences.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of OSS/BSS domains within the communications industry, particularly Charging & Billing, Oracle Service and Order Management, and Unified Inventory Management.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Experience with standard project management methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively across onsite, remote, and multi-vendor environments.
