About the Role

Corpay is seeking a Senior Manager, Bank Relationship and Payment Network to manage and expand banking relationships and payment networks within the Treasury division. This role is crucial for owning the end-to-end account lifecycle and counterparty due diligence, working closely with Bank Operations and Compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with banking partners globally.
  • Expand the company's account network and payment rail infrastructure.
  • Serve as a senior relationship contact across the correspondent and partner bank network.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews and escalate relationship risks or opportunities.
  • Support corridor and currency expansion by coordinating new banking relationships.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of bank accounts, including onboarding, opening, maintenance, operations, and closure.
  • Lead the onboarding of global entities into new jurisdictions.
  • Maintain accurate records of the account estate and mandate structures.
  • Execute incoming KYC processes and comprehensive counterparty due diligence.
  • Apply appropriate due diligence standards to higher-risk relationships.
  • Coordinate periodic refresh and remediation cycles for counterparty files.
  • Contribute to the Bank Steering Committee, preparing business cases and strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate meetings across banking sub-committees.
  • Track decisions, action items, and follow-through across banking relationships.
  • Analyze and optimize interest income on cash balances.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with banking partners to maximize yield.
  • Conduct bank fee analysis and implement cost reduction strategies.
  • Manage credit facility reporting, budget preparation, and audit support activities.
  • Conduct semi-annual SOX Compliance User Access Reviews.
  • Ensure safeguarding processes are maintained and all transactions are accurate and properly documented.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in treasury, banking operations, or financial services, with demonstrated experience in a global or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of correspondent banking, payment rails, bank fee structures, KYC, and counterparty due diligence.
  • Hands-on experience with regulated account operations, safeguarding, and reconciliation controls.
  • Proven analytical capability across interest income optimization, fee analysis, and management reporting.
  • Experience engaging senior internal stakeholders and external banking counterparties.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Familiarity with EMEA and Malta (MFSA) regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
  • Experience supporting a bank steering or governance forum at committee level.
  • Exposure to virtual account and payment scheme infrastructure alongside traditional correspondent banking.
  • Relevant professional qualification in treasury, accounting, or banking.
