About the Role
We are a consumer protection law firm seeking a full-time Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support our attorneys in litigation-related matters and provide administrative support. This role offers the opportunity to develop your career in a practice rich in variety and challenges within a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc.
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
- Conduct research on simple and complex legal matters
- Perform administrative tasks including client intake, organizing, and record keeping
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and legal research
- Exceptional legal writing skills
- Superior organizational and time-management skills
- Computer literate with the ability to learn firm's case management software
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties
- Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Paralegal Certification is a plus
