About the Role

Our mission is to help dogs live longer, healthier lives through the power of fresh, whole food. We are seeking passionate individuals to join us as Nutrition Sales Consultants. The ideal candidate is a pet owner who loves educating pet parents on the benefits of a nutritious diet for their furry family members.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store, making personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements, and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, providing quality follow-up and ongoing support.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management, and point-of-sale policies.
• Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, and POS.
• Meet personal sales quotas and communicate insights to the General Manager to help the Kitchen achieve its targets.

Requirements

• Passionate and motivated to make a difference in the health and lives of dogs and cats.
• Retail or consultative sales experience.
• Skilled at assessing needs, sharing product features and benefits, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
• Able to assist multiple customers simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Drive to meet and exceed goals.
• Proficient in POS and iPad usage.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
