About the Role

As a CAD Technician, you will be accountable for preparing complex drawings of structures and equipment systems. This role can be seated at any of our current branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex drawings of structures and equipment systems.
• Draft project and mechanical system drawings derived from layouts and sketches.
• Establish and follow technical specifications to prepare drawings and draft designs.
• Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy.
• Coordinate with shop team for material deliveries to job-sites.
• Determine material needs.
• Perform necessary calculations.
• Track all material quantities.

Requirements

• 3-7 years experience with AutoCAD, preferably structural concrete drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand structural drawings.
• Strong communication skills, able to correspond well with Engineers and Clients.
• Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
• Innovative but decisive leader who can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
• Ability to set goals and expectations and hold others accountable.
• Can encourage and mentor others.
