About the Role

STV is seeking an Estimator to join our Construction group. The role will focus on projects in and around the NYC metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Confer with technical, professional, and managerial personnel, designers, consultants, and contractors to coordinate and establish detailed cost estimates.
  • Prepare or ensure the preparation of detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and/or construction.
  • Supervise the development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations relating to design documents, contract drawings, specifications, or contract changes.
  • Review and report on contract estimates prepared by private consultants, recommending appropriateness for client implementation.
  • Participate in cost negotiations.
  • Plan, assign, and review the cost estimating work of estimates.
  • Perform related tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental services, or related coursework or equivalent training in Construction Management desired.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of full-time, technical experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years must have been in one of the estimating areas of architecture, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.

Salary/Compensations

  • $95,975.90 - $109,686.74
