About the Role

RSM is seeking a self-motivated, professional, and responsible Payroll and Accounting Technician to focus on full cycle bookkeeping services, payroll, and accounting processes for small to mid-sized businesses. This is a critical role where you can make a difference in the success of the client and our team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare T4s and other year-end slips.
  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting consulting services for assigned clients.
  • Manage Accounts payable processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Prepare accrual and adjusting journal entries.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Maintain depreciation schedules.
  • Reconcile complex accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Conduct research and prepare analysis of data, reports, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience specifically with full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and account reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other accounting programs preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • $68,000 - $108,500
