About the Role
RSM is seeking a self-motivated, professional, and responsible Payroll and Accounting Technician to focus on full cycle bookkeeping services, payroll, and accounting processes for small to mid-sized businesses. This is a critical role where you can make a difference in the success of the client and our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare T4s and other year-end slips.
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting consulting services for assigned clients.
- Manage Accounts payable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare accrual and adjusting journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Maintain depreciation schedules.
- Reconcile complex accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Conduct research and prepare analysis of data, reports, and presentations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience specifically with full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and account reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other accounting programs preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
