About the Role

The Alternative Investment Services (AIS) Centralized Pricing (CP) team supports fund of hedge fund teams globally in setting up securities, maintaining hedge fund liquidity data, and entering pricing data. You will operate as a senior member of the CP team, assisting in the completion of accurate pricing, security setup, and liquidity information for fund of funds investments, while overseeing associate-level tasks and contributing to team development.

Responsibilities

  • Approve security setup and pricing entered by the team.
  • Ensure prices are entered and approved within agreed service levels.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely setup of new funds, classes, and series.
  • Assist the team with pricing and manage the inbox as required.
  • Assist in the resolution of complex queries while aiding/training staff.
  • Ensure pricing errors are logged correctly daily on the issue log.
  • Review and signoff on the end-of-day checklist.
  • Ensure client liquidity reviews are completed within agreed service levels.
  • Timely resolution of internal and external client liquidity queries.
  • Assist with the creation of and updates to standard operating procedures.
  • Gather and analyze system/process improvement requirements to solve business challenges.
  • Attend bi-weekly/monthly managers meetings, monthly CP team meetings, and 1x1 performance management meetings.
  • Participate in departmental projects, support the onboarding of new clients and fund launches.
  • Manage personal development by attending training courses and completing mandatory training requirements.
  • Provide training to new hires.
  • Ensure new hires are fully trained on all CP tasks and working independently within three months of the hire date.
  • Work to tight deadlines, and have the ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure.
  • Act as an escalation point for associates to resolve pricing issues.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years related experience including previous experience managing staff.
  • Experience managing a daily operation while providing support for business unit process improvement projects is preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills.
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word (minimum requirement).
