About the Role

Partner with senior Technology and Data leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that enable business performance. This role involves evolving the People Partnering team's operating model, focusing on a proactive, insight-led approach to partnering and supporting the business through change.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior Technology and Data leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned with business priorities, utilizing workforce data, insights, and trends.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders, coaching and influencing them on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, performance, talent, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and support organizational design, restructures, and business transformation initiatives, including collective consultation.
  • Champion a proactive approach to people partnering by identifying opportunities through employee health metrics, engagement insights, workforce data, and industry trends.
  • Support the development of a high-performance culture by coaching leaders through performance management and challenging conversations.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the People function by simplifying processes, improving workflows, and embracing AI and automation.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning, People Operations, and Legal to deliver integrated people solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the People Partnering team by sharing best practices and supporting new ways of working.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a People Partner supporting Technology, Engineering, or Data organizations.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Director-level leaders to deliver strategic people outcomes.
  • Strong experience leading or supporting organizational change, including organizational design, restructures, change management, and collective consultation.
  • Proactive and commercially minded approach, using people data and business context to shape strategies and influence decisions.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coach and influence senior leaders.
  • Strong generalist People partnering background, including employee relations and employment law.
  • Ability to balance operational priorities with strategic business partnering.
  • Experience improving People processes, operating models, or ways of working.
  • Curiosity about how AI and emerging technologies can enhance the employee experience and People function effectiveness.
  • Collaborative approach, with experience working across Centres of Excellence and People teams.
  • Growth mindset and enthusiasm for shaping the future of People Partnering.
