About the Role

WE Transport Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service. This role involves dispatching drivers, monitoring routes, and making real-time operational decisions to ensure continuity of service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to parents, school district personnel, drivers, monitors and the public.
• Greet visitors, employees, and customers in a welcoming and professional manner while maintaining a positive office environment.
• Dispatch drivers and monitors for school routes, transit routes and paratransit.
• Monitor daily route coverage and make real-time operational decisions to address call-outs, delays, breakdowns, or emergency situations.
• Utilize telephones, two-way radios, email, and dispatch software to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Work closely with supervisors and management to resolve operational issues and ensure continuity of service.
• Prepare and maintain daily schedules, route information, reports, and other operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate records including school calendars, paratransit records and operational logs.
• Utilize computer systems and programs efficiently, including Microsoft Office, email systems, routing software, and other transportation software.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee or student information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must acquire CDL within three (3) months of hire.
• One (1) year of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn transportation software systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
