About the Role
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. In this role, your day is shaped by movement, energy, and connection. You’ll spend your time cooking, preparing, and garnishing quality food product. This position is instrumental in maintaining a clean, organized, and harmonious kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Cook, prepare, and garnish quality food product.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and harmonious kitchen.
- Follow kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and clean all equipment.
- Set up stations including utensils and equipment.
- Receive and store food according to standards.
- Rotate product and store items at proper temperatures.
- Review production schedule at the beginning of each shift to ensure all necessary items are stocked.
- Continuously maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area.
- Offer assistance throughout the property.
- Coordinate culinary operations.
Requirements
- At least two years of prior culinary experience, ideally within a four- or five-star hotel environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to stay patient under pressure.
- Ability to approach every situation with tact and professionalism.
- Comfortable reading instructions.
- Perform basic math.
- Speak confidently with coworkers and management.
- Understand the rhythm of lifestyle hotels and premium dining.
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to walk, carry, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in environments that may be warm, cool, loud, or busy.
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
