About the Role

The Ranger is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff through patrolling and monitoring. This role also involves routine maintenance, light cleaning, and assisting with recreation operations and guest services.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol property and monitor surveillance equipment to secure premises and personnel
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Prepare vacant rooms or cottages for new guests including carpentry, painting, and repairs
  • Assist guests with camper setup and site navigation
  • Deliver firewood, ice, and store items
  • Secure buildings and vehicles at the end of the night
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding operational issues
  • Maintain property cleanliness and order
  • Provide regular and reliable attendance

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • Ability to listen, see, and move with ease
